As so frequently happens...I am again thanking Benny Boy for continuing to encourage and manage the affairs of our class. I only wish I didn't have a life either, and the time to do this! Okay...stop crying benny....I was only kidding! Seriously, this may be the best way of keeping us together and active. I realize it was quite an effort to start and keep our IMUA 72 site current and active. As always, you have again managed to evolve into something more effective and useful. Now, maybe if you can do something about your golf game you could join Riley Smith and I at Hokulia tomorrow! That's right, Mr. Smith has actually invited me to play with him and his friends at that exclusive course. I will be playing with two other engineer types, both HAWAIIANS!! The last time Riley took me golfing it was with a very important guy from the mainland who Riley just sold the Parker Ranch Shopping Center to. I guess the effects of that day has worn off, and I'm back in the cautious loop again.
I just returned from a great trip to Sedona AZ. I encourage everyone to go there. It is a beautiful place located about two hours north of Phoenix. I would like to see if we can do a get together there. Incredible scenery, good restaurants, golf, river activities, hot air balloons, tours. Great place. My goal now is to retire and spend part of the year there, and of course here.
Just a quick " what has bimo been doing with his life " sequence now: was married to a good person for almost thirty years, had three sons and one daughter. Got divorced about two years ago. We worked the marriage as best as we could, and the time came to change things. It wasn't easy, but ultimately...better. I have two grandsons ( 6 & 4 ) that live with me and it is a great part of my day. I am sure those of you who are grandparents know what I am talking about. Getting to Kamehameha was the first of a few " in a class of its own lucky things " for me. To this day I believe a mistake was made and they thought I was someone else. I remember being in the "smart people" class in prep school for about two weeks, before they realized I could barely spell, spoke like a local moke and move me to be with you other guys. My first classmates were people like Aileen Cox, Cory Mehau, Dukie Wise, Lisa Porter.....I kept waiting to get smarter, but never did. So, they quickly moved me to the "other" group, and I eventually struggled my way to graduation. I won't mention the names of my second group as it may suggest they are stupid too, but to those of you in the first group who may be laughing at my second group I have two words for you.....CLAYTON CHONG!!!
I'd like to keep this going but got to take my grandson Josiah to school. The next time I'm on I'll tell you about the next great "Kamehameha like" event in my life. My present wife Bev.
Take care of yourselves, stay or get healthy. Thanks again Benny. Aloha to all.

Bimo, make sure to post the score when you play Riley tomorrow...and don't BS us like you normally do!..and thanks for blogging!!Benny
As ordered by Benny, here is what happened today. Hokulia is an incredible golf course. When you know Riley Smith you can sometimes play there. I have played there about a dozen times. Its a private course owned by "homeowners". Today, for about a half hour there were four other people on the course. Then, it was just the four of us...Riley, Ed Pukini and Healii Heine. They work under Riley in Albert Hee's company. Healii is a Kamehameha graduate, one year old at the time we graduated. We had a great day. I probably beat Riley by a couple of strokes, but of course he only knows how to add....I know how to subtract! Its good reading the other posts. Good job Benny.
