Alumni Week 2012 - Thursday

Another successful talent night! Our class took the "Most Original Performance" trophy by performing an original George "Kanalu" Young composition. Albert Kaai led the muscial portion and Anna Akaka performed an original hula and chant. Dozens of classmates showed up to participate under the bigtop tent on Konia Field.

A GREAT DAY AT THE BEACH

Despite the "iffy" weather, a small but spirited group of Big Island classmates got together at Spencer's Beach to enjoy some good food and good company. Several Honolulu people (Peter, Julie, Brian and Debbie) joined in the festivities which lasted until the sun went down. It was a nice pre-function to our 40th class reunion in June.

'72 SHINES AT RELAY FOR LIFE

Kamehameha's Relay for Life was raised over $120,000 for the 4th consecutive year and the Class of '72 contributed $3,500 to that cause. Twenty-one classmates braved the rain and wind to come out and walk for the cause. They are:
